Nutritionists say the curds have a high unhealthy fat content and many calories. Instead, opt for healthier and lighter menu options.
Dietitian and nutritionist Krutika Nanavati says, “Fried foods [like cheese curds] are high in unhealthy fats and inflammatory compounds. Chronic consumption can damage brain cells, impair blood flow to the brain, and contribute to cognitive decline. Studies have shown a link between frequent fried food intake and lower memory scores.”
