Flea tells MOJO magazine that the Red Hot Chili Peppers have been writing new music together. “We’ve been writing music together, recording at [guitarist] John Frusciante’s house, and the music feels great. Ultimately, once we start playing, it’s about… just catching a magic groove and doing it good.”
Elton John tells People magazine that he loves watching cartoons with his children. “Some of the best memories I’ve had recently are just us hanging out at home, watching silly cartoons or cooking together. It’s a reminder that life’s richest moments don’t have to be extravagant — sometimes it’s just those little shared laughs around the breakfast table that really matter.”
Eagles star Don Henley was recently doing an interview for Rolling Stone magazine when he said he enjoys cooking at home as a way to unwind. “I find being in the kitchen very grounding — chopping vegetables, tasting sauces, it’s just a nice break from the chaos of touring and can be really meditative. Most people don’t expect a rock guy to get into herbs and fresh basil, but I truly enjoy it.”
Duran Duran star Simon Le Bon tells Billboard magazine that nostalgia for 1980s fashion is fun and not to be taken seriously. “I wear some of these old clothes and laugh at myself — it’s like a time capsule, you know? But if younger people want to rock a shoulder pad or neon belt, I say bring it back. Fashion keeps reinventing itself and I love being part of that conversation.”
Lenny Kravitz tells Architectural Digest that he loves being an interior designer on the side. “I love creating environments where people feel comfortable and inspired. Music, furniture, color, and light all work together the same way instruments do in a band. When friends come over and feel at home, that is the best compliment.”
