Jon Bon Jovi tells People magazine that he loves his family’s Sunday night dinners. “I love cooking. It’s one of my favorite things to do when I’m home. I make a great Sunday sauce and I enjoy having everyone around the table together.”
Duran Duran star Simon Le Bon tells The Guardian newspaper that he decompresses by the water after a tour. “I love walking by the sea and just being quiet for a while. After touring, that kind of peace feels incredibly valuable.”
Bono tells Far Out Magazine that U2 has about 25 songs for their upcoming album. U2 has released a new EP titled “Days of Ash”. “There’s a lot more than twenty five songs in the works… but I’d say that about twenty five of them are worth considering for U2 projects in the next years. The album contenders are very different in mood and theme to the ones we’ve chosen to put out on the Days of Ash EP… The songs being presented here are all reactions to present day anxieties”, ranging from the “knee-jerk” to the “considered”.
Billy Idol tells People magazine that becoming a grandfather has finally made the mystery of raising children make sense. “I’ve finally figured out why people have children: so they can enjoy their grandchildren. It’s really good fun. Now I see why you have children — for the grandchildren.”
Debbie Harry tells People magazine that she’s embraced aging with a sense of contentment. “My mother used to say in her head she was 25 and I’m the same. Thinking about [aging] all the time could be your downfall, but I don’t really want the same kind of life I did when I was younger because I’ve already done that. That’s the beauty of aging — you know what it’s about. You have it in your heart and soul and your memory bank.”
