The NY Post says Billy Joel’s ‘MiddleSea’ Long Island home has sold for $28.75 million. The waterfront property has a grand ballroom, spa facilities, and a private bowling alley.
Billy Idol tells People magazine that he hopes to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He recently received his second nomination. “It’s a process, and I can see why. There’s quite a large number of people involved in deciding who gets in. It’s no guarantee. It’s really exciting. It would be incredible this year. This is 50 years ago when I started (with the band Generation X), so it would be really incredible. It would cap off an amazing 50 years … When I walked through that door that punk rock opened up, you really didn’t know if you’ve got the goods; only over time you see I really did have the goods, and I think the songs I’ve made are lasting, the recordings are still good.”
Lenny Kravitz tells The Guardian that he works out when he has midnight cravings. . “There’s a lot of hard work and discipline. That means when I want to eat junk, I don’t do it… I worked all day, rehearsing into the night… So I went to the gym and I did a 90-minute workout at 2 a.m. I know that I must.”
Heart star Ann Wilson tells Rolling Stone magazine that life on the road gave her a new appreciation for simple, grounding experiences like watching sunsets and meteor showers. “I try to focus on the real important stuff too, like sunsets and meteor showers and woods… I’ve been taking time to smell the flowers. After all of these decades of living in that bubble, I don’t miss it at all.”
Sharon Osbourne tells the Daily Mail that she is planning a biopic about Ozzy’s fascinating life. “I want to bring Ozzy’s life story to the big screen, he lived a very fascinating life. I think that would be great.” Sharon does not know which actor is going to play Ozzy.
