The Daily Mail says Rod Stewart is going to become a grandfather for the fifth time. His daughter Ruby Stewart, a singer, is pregnant with her second child. Ruby was at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival where Rod performed last weekend. She has a three-year-old son named Otis with fiancé Jake Kalick.
Queen star Brian May tells People magazine that he doesn’t pressure himself when it comes to practicing the guitar. “I’m pretty basic as far as technique is concerned. I don’t use many gadgets, and I like the sound my guitar makes, anyway. It does most of the work, and I get the credit.”
Elton John was doing a recent interview with People magazine when he said he’s always had the urge to smash a guitar over someone’s head. “There are certain things you can do with a guitar that you can’t do with a piano. I’ve always wanted to smash a guitar over someone’s head. You just can’t do that with a piano.”
Bryan Adams tells Rolling Stone magazine that getting in trouble with the police when he was younger made him never want it to happen again. “I got in trouble with the police, and that was a rude awakening. I saw the inside of a cell and never wanted to see that view again. That was it. I’d seen the bottom of the pit, and it was time to scrape myself out of it.”
Billy Idol tells People magazine that his parents were afraid of the whole punk rock scene. “They kind of knew what rock and roll was, but he didn’t know what punk was. It frightened them to death. But my mom always kind of got it, ‘cause she’s Irish and into music. But my dad couldn’t understand. “Why would you wanna do that
