There was an orchestral performance of “La La Land” in Australia last weekend, but during a break . . . the keyboardist was too sick to continue. So the conductor asked the audience,
“Is anyone an AMAZING sight-reader?” A 21-year-old student named Sterling Nasa raised his hand. He was brought down, given the music, and played out the rest of the show with the orchestra. He said after that the experience gave him the confidence to pursue music professionally.
