Slash was recently doing an interview for GuitarWorld.com when he said he considers each guitar he’s owned to be as special as a woman to him. “Guitars are like women. Red Hot Chili Peppers star Flea tells People magazine that he likes running with other people for companionship and for safety. “It’s fun to just get out there and have a nice conversation when I’m running. Billy Idol tells Newsweek magazine that ‘White Wedding’ is an anti-marriage song, even though it’s often played at weddings. “Well, ‘White Wedding’ was a bit of an anti-marriage song, but people get married to it. So, there you go. They changed that, the meaning of that. It’s funny, but it’s great. I’m glad people have enjoyed it. Whatever they’ve used it for, I’m glad they’ve enjoyed the music and I’ve had a great time.”
Stevie Nicks tells Rolling Stone magazine that she plans to stay active and creative for many years to come. “I’ll probably live to be hatefully 95 years old. I’ll have an electric scooter, and I will be raging and cursing, but I will keep dancing as long as I can.”
Eagles star Don Henley tells Men’s Journal magazine that growing up in rural Texas gave him freedom and imagination. “It gave me space to dream. I could roam the woods and the fields, swim in the lakes, ride my bike to school. I started driving a car at age 14, sitting on a cushion so I could see over the dashboard. I was exposed to different kinds of music from all different directions, since my part of Texas was at a cultural crossroads, where the Old South meets the West.”
