Doomscrolling Survey
A new survey by 72Point reveals that 10% of people have missed a once-in-a-lifetime moment because of their phone. Other findings:
– 46% of people have scrolled on their device during moments they should have been present
– 52% of people have been so distracted by their phone they rewound a film or missed what was happening in the plot
– 57% of people stay up later than intended because of scrolling
– 66% of people admit to picking up their phone without a clear reason
– 33% of people worry they’re not always fully present in their own life because of mobile use.
