Economy Gone Wild; Two Scoops Of Ice Cream Now Costs $51: The NY Post says a U.S. couple were recently charged $51 for two small cups of gelato in Rome, Italy. One of the tourists, a Florida woman named Nicole Ann, said the price would have even been higher had she not asked her server to remove the cannoli and macaroon toppings. Locals called the pricing ‘pure theft’ and say it hurts Rome’s tourism.  Nicole Ann posted, “Honestly, it wasn’t even good.”
