Radar Online says Bruce Springsteen is pushing himself to his limit on his tour. A source says, “The issue during this round of touring is how hard Bruce pushes himself onstage. He’s performing these giant shows in stadiums and arenas and maxing out his energy every single night. He thinks he’s invincible – but his health history shows he’s anything but! Bruce is doing it for the fans. He’s putting himself under massive amounts of pressure to perform at a high level because he wants the fans to get their money’s worth. The people who love Bruce and are with him day to day are concerned. Nobody wants to see Bruce work himself into an early grave.”
Sting was doing an interview for a recent edition of People magazine when he said yoga has helped keep him keep fit and relaxed “Yoga introduced me to a style of meditation. The amount of calming and clarity it’s brought to my life is insane. it keeps me in shape and keeps my mind at peace.”
Joan Jett tells Billboard magazine that she doesn’t like dressing up for anything. “God, I always just think of myself as a jeans and T-shirt kind of person. I don’t think I could even wear a dress now if I had to. I’m gonna show up to any event in jeans, a t-shirt, and boots.”
Newsweek magazine says Stevie Nicks recently donated $3 million to USC’s Keck School of Medicine. Nicks says the donation honors her longtime ENT doctor, Dr. Joseph Sugerman. “Through late nights on the road, years of touring, hours in the recording studio, I always knew I could count on Dr. Sugerman to be there to help keep my voice healthy, just as he does for his other patients.”
Madonna tells TMZ that Billy Idol once cut in front of her to grab a taxi when she flagged one down in New York during their early days. “He steps in front of me with his punk, like, regalia … He didn’t even say ‘sorry’ or ‘thanks’ or nothing.”
