Two kids from Colorado were just awarded the first-ever athletic scholarships to play division-1 CORNHOLE.
Their names are Jaxson Remmick and Gavin Hamann.
They went to ThunderRidge High School near Denver
They won the first ever High School Championship together in 2021, and then another one a year later.
On National Signing Day last week, they signed letters of intent to play D-1 cornhole for
Winthrop University in South Carolina.
The school hasn’t said how much the scholarship is for, but it’s not a full ride.
Their new coach at Winthrop thinks full-ride scholarships for cornhole could happen eventually though.
