Sherwin-Williams has just named its “loneliest color.” They’re calling it that because it just sits on the shelf, and is RARELY purchased and used.
Officially, the color is called “Offbeat Green” . . . and it looks like broccoli or asparagus soup. It’s even less appealing than what you’re picturing.
Sherwin-Williams describes it as, quote, “a vivid, citric lime green that reflects a growing desire for individuality.”
For what it’s worth, they’re trying to raise its profile by working with LeBron James’ foundation, where they’ll be using it . . . including on the front door. And they’re also using the “Loneliest Color” angle in a new campaign.
Also: If you order Offbeat Green, you’ll be entered into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a basketball signed by LeBron . . . limited-edition apparel . . . and a $1,000 Sherwin-Williams gift card.
