Russian Schools Now Require 17 Hours Of Basic Military Training:  Business Insider says Russia is now requiring junior high and high school students to  complete 17 hours of basic military training between grades 6 and 11. The courses cover drones and field exercises along with lessons on Russian history, civic service, and wartime survival.  A Russian military official says, “Russian children should be prepared for war immediately after primary school.”
