Coca-Cola Buries Artifacts On July 4th For 250 Years: The Atlanta Journal-Constitution says Coca-Cola celebrated America’s 250th birthday by burying artifacts in a time capsule on July 4th. The Atlanta capsule will be opened in 250 years. Coca-Cola donated a contour glass bottle with a note and sheet music for their new song. The note reads, “America, so much has happened since we poured our first Coke in Atlanta in 1886. Happy Birthday, America. You’re the real thing.”
