GLP-1 Scams Are Trending: ABC says the Better Business Bureau is warning people about GLP-1 scams. One in eight U.S. adults have used a GLP-1 drug. Scammers are posting ads for the drugs on social media. Unsuspecting users are buying them and being billed. They then receive no drugs. The BBB says scammers are using fraudulent websites and AI-generated ads featuring fake endorsements from celebrities, doctors and other trusted figures. Other warning signs include ads claiming no prescription is required, medication labeled for “research purposes only,” and sellers demanding payment through a cash app or wire transfer
