Intermittent Fasting Study: A new study published in the Obesity journal reveals that intermittent fasting is no better than an average weight loss regimen. Researchers found that eating only within a 10-hour window per day leads to approximately the same modest weight loss as spreading meals across 16 hours. Blood tests showed no differences in appetite hormones, fat-tissue hormones, or markers of inflammation between either group of participants. Experts say food quality is far more important than when it is consumed.
