Allrecipes says General Mills is launching a new Christmas cereal inspired by Buddy the Elf even though it is only September 24th. The cereal, Maple Syrup Chex, is inspired by Will Ferrell’s love of syrup in the 2003 film “Elf.” The box includes a recipe for a holiday snack mix using the cereal. The new cereal is exclusive to Walmart and has already been spotted in stores.
